Getting started

Set up OverSerp in about ten minutes: add your site, review the analysis, approve your content plan and connect your CMS.

OverSerp turns a website URL into a running content program. This guide takes you from sign-up to your first published article.

1. Create your account

Sign up with your email. The free trial includes 3 articles and does not ask for a credit card.

2. Add your site

Enter your website URL, the language you publish in and your target country. OverSerp supports 150+ languages, and each site keeps its own language and market.

OverSerp then analyzes the site automatically. It reads your homepage, your sitemap and, on WordPress, your existing posts, and produces:

  • a short description of what you sell and who you sell to
  • a recommended tone of voice
  • likely competitors in your niche
  • the list of your own pages used later for internal links

You can edit every field. The better this profile, the better every article.

3. Generate keywords

Open Keywords and generate ideas. Each keyword comes with its search intent, a suggested article type (guide, listicle, comparison, how-to, review) and a one-line rationale. If DataForSEO is enabled for your account, you also get live search volume and keyword difficulty.

Delete anything off-topic and add keywords you already know you want.

4. Build the 30-day calendar

Choose your publishing days (for example Monday to Friday) and the publish hour. OverSerp places one keyword in each slot for the next 30 days. Drag slots to reorder, swap keywords, or remove days.

5. Set brand voice and house rules

In site settings, add house rules: phrases to avoid, products to mention, links that must appear, formatting preferences. They are applied to every article.

6. Connect your CMS

Pick an integration and follow its guide:

PlatformGuide
WordPressWordPress setup
WebflowWebflow setup
ShopifyShopify setup
GhostGhost setup
Anything elseWebhook reference

Set the connection as your site's default integration so scheduled articles know where to go.

7. Choose autopilot or review mode

  • Autopilot: articles are written ahead of their slot and published at the day and hour you chose.
  • Review mode: articles are written and scored, then wait for you. Publish them with one click when you're happy.

You can switch modes at any time per site.

8. Read the SEO score

Every draft is scored against 15 on-page checks: keyword placement, title and meta length, slug, structure, links, FAQ, filler phrases and more. Green checks mean it's ready; anything red tells you exactly what to fix.
