FAQ

WordPress integration FAQ

Does it work with WordPress.com?+

The integration targets self-hosted WordPress through its REST API. WordPress.com Business sites that expose the REST API with Application Passwords usually work; free WordPress.com plans do not.

My security plugin blocks the connection. What now?+

Some firewalls disable the REST API or Application Passwords. Allow /wp-json/wp/v2/posts for authenticated users, or whitelist OverSerp in the plugin settings, then run the test again.
